  • Joy Maker Challenge: November 21—December 23: Be a Joy Maker this holiday season and double your impact! generationOn and Hasbro invite you to join us for the 6th annual Joy Maker Challenge! The Joy Maker Challenge encourages youth to spread joy to people in need during the holidays through volunteer service. For every kid and teen who volunteers throughout The Joy Maker Challenge, Hasbro will donate a toy or game to Toys for Tots (up to $1 million worth), plus you’ll be entered to win grants!   • TeachOne - Learning to Give is calling on teachers across the country to TeachOne lesson about giving and community on GivingTuesday, Nov. 29, 2016.  Rally your building to join the movement and make the pledge to TeachOne lesson about giving on GivingTuesday.  Start building a culture of giving and service at your school. Click on the TeachOne link and to find K-12 lessons.  After TeachOne, expand discussions into service-learning action at your school. There are  LTG mini-grants available to help support teacher’s service-learning projects. LTG Issue Area Page -  Get ideas for planning service and learning around 14 different issue areas! Lesson plans, community resources, and project ideas.
